Dave Lyon has made it to the 6th Round of the Surrey County singles, which is the Division final. The game is at home on Friday 24th July 6pm.

Ewell Village Bowling Club is situated in Gibraltar Recreation Ground, West Street, Ewell, KT17 1XU. A detailed map can be found on the Location page.
We pride ourselves on being a very friendly club which welcomes beginners and more experienced players equally. New members pay a reduced first year fee and beginners receive free qualified coaching.
We have a busy schedule throughout the summer months. Check out Bowlr, our online diary for games, drives, matches and social events. The days of starchy white uniforms are long gone and the greens today are more likely to be a blaze of colour!
Even during the winter we have various activities in our clubhouse to allow members to keep in touch. See the Events page for details.

Australian Pairs 2026

Competitors and spectators battled through the heat to enjoy another great 'Australian Pairs' day. The first round comprised 4 groups of 3 pairs. Groups A&B and C&D played each other with the top pair in each group progressing to the final. The final was between Ellen & Allen and Denise & Geoff, with Denise & Geoff emerging as winners. Everyone was able to to access the fabulous buffet as matches dictated. The various desserts and cakes were wonderful, but Heathers amazing meringues stole the show, as usual. And the bar did well all day! The day finished with the traditional 'Spider' with everyone arranged around the green and on the governors call, everyone rolled their bowl towards the centrally placed jack, with Chris K winning a koala bear for being the closest.

Dave Lyons two teams travelled to Cheam on a lovely sunny afternoon. It was a very friendly and close game with one team recovering from dropping 10 shots close to the end and the other clinching the match on the very last bowl. We await to hear who we face in the semi-final.
